Putrajaya and surrounding

Setelah ngambil tas di hostel, the first destination that Que took me was Putrajaya, the official capital of Malaysia.

So i guess skipping lunch whilei was there. LOL

The mega structure of Putrajaya was the highlight. There is Perdana Putra, it's huge and masculine, a kinda building that really suit the Man who running the country, yep, the Prime minister took it as his office. Didepannya ada dataran merdeka, sebuah lapang luas, yang mungkin suka dipake juga pas acara-acara kenegeraan. Mungkin aja yah, ini sih gw aja yang sotoy. I didn't ask Que about it though.

Then Que took me to one of the garden where there's a sun dial. Panas deh sumpeh. gosong kulit gw. Ditaman ini dibagi beberapa area sesuai region tanam-tanamannya. Kurang ngerti juga sama kurangmerhatiin, abis ilang fokus karena kepala keburu berdenyut-denyut. Jakarta emang panas, tapi entahlan, Putrajaya Panasnya sama sekali gak ngangenin. rasanya pengen cepet-cepet hengkang. heuheu

Oh, iya.

*ngacay

the final wrap of SG & MY leg

After pusing-pusing di Putrajaya and Cyberjaya, Que had a good place for dinner. It's rather long journey i guess fromPutrajaya. Langit juga sudah mulai berganti malam. When we passed by sepang circuit, it was pitch black!nothing that I could see to actualize it that it was really a F1 circuit, lol. They surely know how to saving energy :P

Around 30 minutes later or more, finally  we arrived at this beach promenade, there's lotsa seafood stall lining up on the street. I believe the area called "Bagan lalang" not really sure, gotta check back withQue.

There's not many people that night, although i'm pretty sure, this place will be busy from business on weekend.  And oh yeah, while waiting, i watch some ooolllld Indonesian sinteron there, can't hardly remember the title but it was like old tv series from 3-4 years ago, and they still rerun it in Malaysia and they got dubbed, so it's kinda hillarious for me to (try) to watch it :P

So we gotta to ick everything we want to eat. Que kept on adding stuff, i said to him, Can we ever finished all of them ? LOL.. SEAFOOD FIESTA , my friend!Ah, seafood itu kelemahan saya.Lupakan kolestreolnya saja sejenak. Sumpah, enyaaak banget.

within 1 hour,  we finally finish our last scrap. and it's almost like 10pm. So we're headed back to his home. By 11Pm, we arrived at an apartment complex, not really recall the surrounding, since it was already quite and dark. His sister opened the door for us, actually feel pretty bad to make some one open the door for you in the middle of the night.

By 4am, i've already ready to go. And 4.30am, Que was took me to LCC, which is yes, conveniently only like 15-20 minutes from his apt, especially with no traffic. Ah, terima kasih banyak, Que. You've been really wonderful host!So please please, come to Bandung, so I can repay your kindness.

Bye Q, hello QUE!

This is not goodbye
On this day, i went to KLCC on my own as Q has different schedule. He needs to find out his transportation  to proceed his journey to Tioman island if i'm not mistaken.

After got some heads up from Muhammad, the Hostel owner, on how to go to KLCC via bus, i starts my late journey. Why i said late, because apparently, when i got there, the queue were already like the river flown to the sea. People were shown up there by 5 am, to get a free ticket to be in the twin bridge. So yeah, i think i cancel it this time.

I knew i was super late when i even able to tell where the end side of the queue!

Not sure what to do for the rest of the day, i tried to call my Malaysian friend, QUE aka Ishak. I know him from myspace, since he has this band which i invited them previously  to have gig in IfVenue if they ever be in Bandung. And so we chat a lot after that. He's really nice guy. He's even worried about me travelling alone, so he make sure to give his friend contact while i was in SG. After several rang, i can reach him. And since he's off duty, he said he gonna pick me and show me around. Yay!

We agreed to meet in Putrajaya, since he reside in arund there, in Seremban if i'm not mistaken. So i took a train to Putrajaya. It was really nice ride from KL sentral, using the fast train. But the station which is locate in the lwer side of KL sentral is so quite, not much people around, but probably it's off peak hour.

Actually, that was my first time i met him in person. So when we finally met up, we just laugh there awkwardly, lol.  But after time passed by, everything was just bit chilled down. we try to convers in Malay at first, but who knew that it was much easier just to communicate in English. So we switched back, haha.

After some talks, he found out that my flight for the next day was 7.00am, so he told me to stay at his house, since it's only like 15 minutes to to LCC. And it;s going to hard for me to be at the airport in 5 am in the morning unless i paid a hefty 100MYR for taxi.  Well, that's hellaaaout big money. So i agreed. But i gotta fetch my bag first from the hostel.

Q sim!the ultra handsome guy from korea!(there you go, i've keep my promised , LOL
When i got there, Q was still not back. So i left him a note, said thank you for the company and the fun that we'd share. A bit sad that i didn't got a chance to say a proper good bye though. But i really wish him all the luck and fun in his upcoming world trip. That Korean guy with his yellow guitar is super awesome! If you meet him by chance, his name is Q sim :)

Hostel Cosmopolitan, Gem in chow kit area!

Adieu, Travelers home!

Adieu, Travelers home!A good riddance one.

We then got back to travellers home to pick up our bag, and ready to proceed to our next hostel in Chow kit area.  I felt like so relieve when we finally say our last adios to this travelers home. We met some good friend there.

We took the bus to get to chow kit. Since the bus was empty, we could even chat with the bus conductress, who apparently is Indonesian, from Padang to be exact, so as the driver. But their Malay accent now was really thick! If she didn't told me her origin, i couldn't never tell.

Hello Cosmopolitan!
By the time we arrive in the chow kit area, i felt a bit dejavu. The situation is really like what i had in Jakarta, in bandung. It's even reminiscent me of 1 particular area: Cicadas. When the streets were took over by street vendor.
A typical view of chowkit surrounding, there's lotsa food stall around the area when the noon starts fall

Then we arrived in some old building, it's not on it's good shape. Like trash everywhere! Man, suddenly i felt dispirited. oh, please God, don't let the same thing happen again! we took the one and only elevator that available. But then when the elevator were opened, and we see the hostel signage. Boy, we did blown-away!Who could ever thought!that in this crappy building, with its dingy surrounding, there lays a GEM called Cosmopolitan hostel!

we got inside, and the reception area already gave us a chill and relax vibe. The reception guys showed us around the facilities there: the toilets and bath area, the kitchen and the dining area and then finally i arrive at my female dorm. and ta da..all is pink!!!my god, i felt like my girly radar was getting juice up. Never been a fan of pink before, but really, after spend my time in a possible worst place, i really appreciate the new sparkling sheet, clean towel, with the pink wall, some magazine and novel to kill time, a hairdryer to dry your hair, and even a hair straightener and a baby scents in the air!just wow.I'm super happy! and for those luxury, i've only paid for only 20 MYR. And if it's still not enough. if you spend more then 3 night, you'll get 2 MYR discount every night. for example, stay there for 3 night then you only gonna pay: 20 MYR+18MYR+16MYR!do i recommend this Cosmopolitan hostel? well yes!Stay here, and you'll be at ease.

Soon after we manage our stay there, We went to KLCC just to look at the tower. And oh, i also went to kinokuniya, and found some book that way cheaper to buy here then in Jakarta. I think Q had some issue with his credit card, so he's trying to fix it.
